I am concerned about the daily fixed rate for my Rinnai gas connection. This is for hot water only.
I live in a Haumaru housing village. My daily fixed rate for power through Frank Energy is 30c daily, whereas for the natural gas it is 10.9c daily. This means for a month I am paying $30+ before even being charged for usage.
Do you happen to know if there is a subsidy available for pensioners?
Frank Energy say that’s what they are charged and have to pass it on. Haumaru housing have no subsidy.
There is no hot water cylinder so I can’t convert to power for the hot water.
