Alex and his wife Cheryl started the Oreti property in the mid 80’s. Alex first arrived one winters day to view –hidden in thick fog with only a fantail to keep him company, he wondered what he was doing. He perched on a log and day dreamed, the 180 degree panoramic lake views slowly revealed itself and suffice to say still has him mesmerised today.
All cedar-clad apartments blend perfectly into the hillside and face north east, allowing a magical addition to your Oreti experience with the most beautiful sunrises. When you wake up at Oreti you know it won’t be an ordinary day!
