Two long-established Tauranga supplement businesses — Health House and Abundant Health — are combining their operations, due to a shared belief in natural health and locally developed products.
This combination between Health House and Abundant Health marks a new chapter for both businesses and promises to deliver a wide range of benefits to customers seeking quality and trustworthy natural health products along with science-based advice.
Both companies are well known for developing research-based supplements which have a positive impact on customers’ lives. By pooling their expertise, resources, and research capabilities, they can now offer an even broader range of health advice and supplements.
Managing Director of Health House, Mike Coory, commented “I met John, when we began manufacturing two of his products through our GMP manufacturing facility here in Tauranga. John was very knowledgeable about natural health products and great to work with. When John mentioned that both he and Janelle wanted more time to spend with the grandchildren and pursue their hobbies, I suggested we handle all manufacturing and dispatch, but only if he came on board too.”

Abundant Health has nine products with the two top sellers being Bettaflex for joint health and Cell eXtra for energy and wellbeing. Health House along with its state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, has more than 50 products and 10 health books.
Health House’s top sellers are CAA-Multi and the Optimum Health Triple Pack – both designed by David Coory – founder of Health House and author of top-selling New Zealand health book – Stay Healthy by Supplying What’s Lacking in Your Diet.

For customers of both businesses, the change is expected to be smooth and straightforward. Existing Abundant Health products will continue, with all manufacturing now undertaken locally in Tauranga through Health House’s facility. John will remain personally involved, helping customers better understand how the wider range of products can support their health and wellbeing.
