Amid the wide range of significant issues addressed at the Grey Power Federation AGM in June, there was also time for delegates to relax and enjoy some fun and laughter.
In particular, the ‘formal’ Federation dinner turned festive with an Hawaiian evening prompting members to bring out their floral shirts, leis, colourful dresses and woven garlands.
Male costume of the night went to North Shore’s Bill Rayner, who pulled out all stops with his tropical lava-lava, shirt and lei, all colour co-ordinated. Well done, Bill.
