Discover the South Island

Are there places you have always thought about visiting but haven’t got there yet? It’s not too late.

Our quality, small group tours can take you to the majestic South Island, back country of New Zealand’s largest high-country stations, Molesworth and Rainbow Stations. There’s no walking required; just sit back and enjoy the history and heritage. Friendly drivers and comfortable vehicles offer a range of tours to choose from.

Have you been to Stewart Island? Sometimes the kiwis are so numerous and friendly they have been known to peck at your shoe laces. Have you seen the white herons at nesting season? They’re a beautiful rarity of nature. Have you seen the night sky from Mt Cook or tasted oysters in Buff while listening to bagpipes playing?

The South Island has all the beauty in the world, get out and see it for yourself.

“The trip was everything I had hoped it would be. My highlights were the Caitlin’s, and our wonderful hosts Fergus and Mary The meal at Lumberjacks was amazing and the staff delightful.

Stewart Island held many memories – a fabulous pub, and loved the trip to Ulva Island. Kiwi night when a male kiwi came right up to us and nibbled at shoelaces was exceptional.

Incredible museum! My final highlight was having the bagpipes played on “Faith”, I was sitting alone at the bow, and it felt like they were being played just for me! Overall, it was a fantastic adventure.– Alison M
