Earlier this year, Netsafe together with Chorus, launched a collection of free ‘Get Set Up for Safety’ educational resources to help older adults keep themselves safe online, while enjoying the benefits of being connected.

The initial ‘Get Set Up For Safety’ resources include six printable booklets, two pamphlets and a series of instructional videos, covering:
- Safe online shopping and banking
- How to spot a scam
- Social media settings and safety
- Setting up devices securely
- User-friendly device settings
- A glossary explanation of commonly used technology terms
