Greenside Energy Solutions has been committed to creating warmer, drier, and more energy-efficient homes for Kiwi families since 2011.
Known initially as GreenStar, it was one of the first companies to be involved with the Warmer Kiwi Homes Scheme. Since then, the company has grown into a trusted industry name, proudly serving households in the wider Auckland, Waikato, and Bay of Plenty regions.
As proud partners of the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA), we help Kiwis create warmer, healthier homes by providing access to significant government grants. These grants cover 80%-100% of the cost for insulation and heating upgrades, making these essential improvements more affordable – and, yes, in some cases FREE (terms and conditions apply).
Over the past 13 years, Greenside Energy Solutions has transformed more than 50,000 homes, making them more energy-efficient and healthier places to live. Despite these efforts, about 50% of Kiwi homes still lack adequate insulation, crucial for maintaining a warm, dry, and healthy environment.
Homes without proper insulation are susceptible to dampness and cold, which can lead to increased health risks such as respiratory illnesses. Upgrading insulation improves comfort and significantly reduces health risks, leading to fewer sick days and doctor visits.
Our services extend beyond insulation and heating. We provide heat pumps, air conditioning, ventilation systems, extraction fans and energy-efficient lighting, which enhance comfort and reduce energy bills.
