New Logo Unveiled

The unveiling of Grey Power’s refreshed logo was met with enthusiasm at the annual general meeting in June.

The Rt Hon Winston Peters and Grey Power vice president, David Marshall released the all-concealing curtain to reveal a new grey and blue colour combination with a suitably studious owl encompassed within a circle.

The new-look owl resulted from a comprehensive survey in which members were asked to vote on one of several options. Subsequently, the popular choice is combined in a stylish logo that clearly stamps Grey Power’s presence in the modern world as seen in our masthead above.

A full exciting branding guide was forwarded to Associations in August so they now have access to a high quality logo and additional marketing templates.

These include Association membership brochures, banners, letterheads and business cards.

Initial response to the package has been enthusiastic and many associations have started to transition their materials to reflect the bright new image.

At its August meeting, the Board noted their grateful thanks to Kiri Marshall for pro bono work on the logo, Jana Hood from SociaLink for the compilation of the outstanding brand guide, and to Johnathan Dietz for his assistance to several Associations needing practical support to produce their own materials.

Associations have been encouraged to transition to the new logo and implementation of the branding guidance over the next nine months, as new materials are produced.

Federation Coordinator, Johnathan is always willing to assist Associations requiring assistance.
